Tokenization

How we tokenize.

Tokenization at Vertalo is not a leap of faith onto a chain. The register stays authoritative; the token is its on-chain representation — minted, governed, and reconciled under an SEC-registered transfer agent.

The model

The register is the truth. The token represents it.

Approaches that encode everything on-chain are expensive, slow, and exposed to downtime. The VSP writes only the highest-value datum — a holder's balance — to the chain by default; everything else lives on the securityholder record, synced to chain in the correct order. And authority over transfers, restrictions, and corporate actions stays with the regulated party — the token delegates control, it doesn't seize it.

Minimal on-chain footprint

A holder's balance on-chain by default; write more only when an asset or rule requires it. You don't pay for what you don't need.

Order-ensured sync

Events are produced and stored off-chain, then written to chain in the correct order — including across chains.

Native standards, not forks

The VSP uses each chain's native token standards — on Aptos, the Fungible Asset standard, with compile-time guarantees on asset logic.

Step by step

From register to chain, six steps.

Every step runs on the Vertalo platform — by our team, your team, or your agent.

01

Configure the asset on the register

On Vertalo

Entity documents, asset and round setup, holder records — the onboarding kit, by template or by agent. The register exists before any token does.

02

Choose the chain

On Vertalo

Chain integrations are adapters, not rearchitecture. Pick per deal — cost predictability, finality, and protocol stability matter more than ecosystem size.

03

Mint under a controller function

On Vertalo

Tokens are minted with authority delegated to the appropriate regulated party — transfer agent, issuer, or custodian — not centralized in the contract.

04

Issue to keyless custodial wallets

On Vertalo

Holders log in and see their assets. No key ceremonies, no seed phrases — the security of the chain with the keys made invisible.

05

Transfer under transfer-agent authority

On Vertalo

Restrictions and compliance are enforced by the regulated party. Agent-initiated actions carry delegation records; issuance, transfer, clawback, and redemption stay behind human gates.

06

Reconcile, continuously

On Vertalo

On-chain and off-chain positions reconcile to the Golden Source. If chain data is unavailable, the record stands and operations continue.

Wallets

All of the blockchain. None of the keys.

Vertalo's keyless custodial wallets keep every security property of the chain intact — and make the keys invisible.

For investors

Log in and see your holdings — view, and where permitted, trade — without managing private keys or knowing a blockchain is underneath. Designate a qualified custodian when your structure calls for one.

For issuers

Never distribute crypto keys to investors — and protect them from losing their securities with the keys. Controller functions and per-holder allowances keep governance where it belongs.

Tokenize on the register.

Bring the asset; we bring the record, the protocol, and the wallets. Start in the sandbox — or start with a conversation.
